Geographical Data Enrichment

Sensis' Geographical Data enrichment service offers location data that can be appended to your already enriched customer database.

The service provides several geographic units by which your data can be enriched.

1. Specific latitude and longitude coordinates

The service can identify where your customers are located and provide an approximate latitude and longitude coordinate.  We use data from our mapping location product Whereis^®, along with Telstra's Internal Geographic sources, providing you with accurate location coordinates.

2. Local Government Area (LGA)

The service can also identify which Local Government Area (LGA) your customer resides in.  This data enables you to analyse your marketing efforts based on geographic zones.  Statistics and data collected by local governments can also be used to further understand the makeup of your customers.

3. Census Collection District

If you want a deeper understanding of your customers, our service can append Census Collection District codes to your customer database.  CCDs are the smallest commonly used geographic unit for which there is demographic data available through the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

With this geographic data and the availability of other geographic units, you have a powerful combination of data sources that can provide you with an intimate understanding of your customers.
